Meet the Team

Emily Betancur

As a certified doula, childbirth educator, BodyReadyMethod active pro, wife, mom of 6, and founder of Magnolia Birth Doula Services, I am dedicated to helping moms feel calm, confident, and capable every step of the way. I’m here to educate, support, and advocate for you through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, so you feel strong, loved, and truly cared for. I’m growing a team of elite West Texas doulas that uplift each other, empower mommas, and provide unwavering support to families!

Natalie Castro

I am a follower of Christ, devoted wife, homeschool mom, and birth doula who is passionate about supporting mothers through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I believe this time in a woman’s life is transformative, beautiful, and should be held in honor, which is why I am devoted to educating, advocating, and supporting mothers so they can feel confident in their decisions, trust their body and instincts, and recognize the beauty of the gift God has given them of bringing new life into the world!

Graci Fredenberg

I’m a wife and mom who is passionate about supporting women through their transitions into motherhood. I know firsthand how important it is to have the right support during this journey.

I believe in creating a warm and nurturing environment where you can feel informed and confident in your choices. I believe it’s an honor to share in this experience with you and your little one.

Miranda Lambert

I am a birth doula and Certified Lactation Counselor, with 3 years of experience as a Lactation Counselor at UMC. I am married to my husband of 8 years and have three beautiful children who inspired my interest in childbirth and lactation. Education and empowerment surrounding labor and birth is so important, and I am excited to serve and support fellow women as a birth doula.

Kaegan Westbrook

I’m a wife, mother, and birth worker with a passion for serving women throughout motherhood. With a background in midwifery training and certification as a Lactation Specialist, I have attended over 100 births and 400 prenatal visits, sitting at the feet of women and learning how best to cherish them. I am privileged to have supported VBAC, twin, and vaginal breech births. Motherhood is such a special time and I am honored to be a part of that journey.

This often looks like encouraging you and your partner to speak up for your wishes, asking you if you want to follow someone else’s direction or not, and reminding everyone of your birth plan. This is your birth, your body, and your baby, let’s work together to make sure it feels that way.

With a doula, you can skip the Google search and simply send a text or make a call. From proactive meetings to make sure you are prepared, to answering questions as they come up, to sharing resources, to referring you back to your care provider or other professionals, we’re here to help every step of the way.

Partners play such a special and important role during labor and birth, but when they see their wife in a state she’s never been in before (aka Labor Land), they often get worried and don’t know what to do. Partners play such a special and important role during labor and birth, but when they see their wife in a state she’s never been in before (aka Labor Land), they often get worried and don’t know what to do. Just as mom has to prepare so she will know what to do, willing dads can prepare too. A doula can support dad‘s needs through this major life event, in addition to teaching dad practical ways to be the best possible support for mom. The partner’s primary duties include: protecting the environment so mom feels safe at all times, advocating for her wishes, keeping track of important items, providing comfort measures, and consistently boosting mom’s oxytocin levels (the love hormone that causes contractions) by helping mom feel relaxed and loved.
